► Environment and Ethics Officer
Heya , I’m Ginger Steve (Stephen Marshall) and I’ve been elected to be the Environment and Ethics Officer for the academic year 2010/11. I shall work hard on the variety of issues that are in my remit, such as Fair-Trade, being green and many more.
I am looking at organising events in Fair-Trade fortnight, which will showcase ethical food, clothes, make up and to look at topics like poverty and climate change and how those in the third world will be greater affected than those in the developed world.
I will keep you posted by various media and will post my SGM reports online a few days before, so you may read it in advance and be able to hold me to account! Committee meetings will be regular and will look at a range of issues that students would like to raise and again this will be uploaded for all to see.
