Students' Union President announces additional funding for two Work Placement Officers.
“Just over a year ago when I ran to become Education Officer, I pledged to double the number of careers advisers – we did that. When I ran for President, I promised to double the number of WOW / SPIN placements on offer to students.
I am delighted to announce today that the University have confirmed that they will fund two additional Work Placement Officers to realise this ambition.” – Zahid Raja, Students’ Union President
Lucy Williams and Chris Baillieux will be joined by two more work placement officers in the Careers and Employability team due to an increased demand for placements. The new officers will be developing and supporting more opportunities for students.
