How your union works

Our Mission:

Every student is automatically a member of the Union and we want to make sure you get the most out of your education, but also that you get involved in activities, meet new people, have fun and enjoy Swansea.

How We Run:

We're a democratic organisation and independent of the University, run by a team of seven elected full time officers, twelve part time officers and a team of staff and volunteers. We believe all students should have a say in our policies and shape the direction of the Union and University, so check out our Student Forums and see how you can make a difference.

How to find us:

Public transport

From Swansea City Centre or Swansea train station, take the 4a bus towards Singleton Hospital, the first stop after the hospital is the University.

By car

Exit the m4 at junction 42 and head along the A483 (Fabian way) following signs to Swansea and the Gower; once you have reached the river, take a left onto Quay Parade and continue forwards onto Oystermouth Road. Continue on Oystermouth Road for just over two miles until you see a park on your right hand side, the next right turning (slightly hidden) will take you on to the University campus.

By cycling

From swansea city centre, head along the cycle path running parallel to the beach front, heading west towards the gower. After passing St. Helen's stadium, you will reach a footbridge over the road; cross here to reach the University. Once on campus there are a variety of cycle points to leave your bike.

By foot

There is a footpath running parallel to the beach front from swansea city centre which you can follow to the University campus. Once on campus, head to the building behind Fulton house, on the left hand side of the building there is an entrance. Head through here and up to the second floor where you will find our reception area located just by the stair well. Enquire here with any specific queries you may have.
