Who are we?

The Accounting Society is a student-led society, who work closely with the School of Management and the Swansea Employability Academy. Our goal is to bring together any students that have an interest in any aspect of Accounting. Our objective is to improve the knowledge of these students by holding events, speaking to professionals, group discussions and holding alumni events.

Why should you join?

Firstly, you don’t have to be studying an Accounting-related degree to be a society member, as long as you have an interest in the area or would like to gain a better understanding of it, you can join!

You will be able to expand your professional network by having the opportunity to speak to people with similar interests and people who are working in the industry.

The society will help to improve skills through different workshops, whether that is on CV and application writing, how to search for a placement/graduate scheme and prepare for an interview, creating your LinkedIn profile or how to use excel and database!
