Welcome to Swansea University’s Curiosity Society
We are a brand-new society centred around devising and designing solutions to problems such as:
- How do I make this rocket go as high as possible?
- What can I do to make sure my eggs don’t break after throwing them off the roof of my university?
- I don’t have a trebuchet!
This is a society for those of us who like to have a good time, get our hands dirty, build and explore! Everyone is welcome, no matter their level of experience. We have lots of fresh ideas about fun socials and events for the following year and hope you will join in!
As a society we are hoping to compete with other universities throughout the U.K in engineering and design challenges. So if you have a logical, competitive, creative and curious mind, sign up!
We are not a course specific society so everyone with a keen interest in creating and building fun science-based projects, is welcome to join!

Croeso i Gymdeiithas Chwilfrydedd Prifysgol Abertawe
Rydym yn gymdeithas newydd sbon sy'n canolbwyntio ar ddyfeisio a dylunio atebion i broblemau fel:
• Sut ydw i'n gwneud i'r roced hon fynd mor uchel â phosib?
• Beth allaf ei wneud i sicrhau nad yw fy wyau yn torri ar ôl eu taflu oddi ar do fy mhrifysgol?
• Does gen i ddim trebuchet!
Dyma gymdeithas i'r rhai ohonom sy'n hoffi cael amser da, cael ein dwylo'n frwnt, adeiladu ac archwilio! Mae croeso i bawb, waeth beth yw lefel eu profiad. Mae gennym lawer o syniadau ffres am ddigwyddiadau cymdeithasol a digwyddiadau creadigol ar gyfer y flwyddyn ganlynol, gobaithio y byddwch chi'n ymuno!
Fel cymdeithas, rydym yn gobeithio cystadlu â phrifysgolion eraill ledled y D.U mewn heriau peirianneg a dylunio. Felly, os oes gennych chi feddwl rhesymegol, cystadleuol, creadigol a chwilfrydig, cofrestrwch!
Nid yw'r gymdeithas yn perthyn i gwrs penodol, felly mae croeso i unrhywun ymuno sydd â diddordeb brwd mewn creu ac adeiladu prosiectau gwyddonol hwyliog!
