Welcome to The DockYard! Brought to you by your Students' Union in collaboration with Swansea University. 

The Dockyard is a food and drink experience taking place until the end of term on Singleton Campus. With an ecelectic mix of world food, and more than our fair share of thirst quenching beverages, both boozy and not - The Dockyard is the perfect place to gather with friends, in a socially-distanced environment, to kick back and relax. 

Open from 530pm until 10pm, tables of up to 6 people can be reserved. With app ordering and payment plus our dedicated waiting staff bringing everything to your table, having a night out has never been simpler or safer. 

Please make sure that you observe our site rules when planning and visiting The Dockyard. Please do not attend if you are, or have been in contact with, someone displaying symptoms of Covid-19.  Please refer to NHS guidance if you are in doubt (https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/). 

Temperature check on entry – We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone who records a temperature of 37.8C or greater.  Track and Trace – We will record the contact details of your party on arrival. 

Social Distancing – The Dockyard has been designed to comply with Government guidance on social distancing. You will find measures such as socially distanced queuing, one-way systems and two metre distanced seating. You will find signage reminding you of these safety measures throughout the venue, please adhere to them, as refusal to do so may result in ejection from the venue. 

Table Service Only – Please stay at your table at all times and order food and drink via the Yoello app, you will find QR codes at your table to do this. 

Challenge 25 – Swansea University Students’ Union operates a challenge 25 policy, please be prepared to show proof of age when asked. 

Zero Tolerance – Swansea University Students’ Union operates a Zero Tolerance drugs policy. Random searches will be carried out upon entry and throughout the building. Searching can be a condition of entry. Failure to allow a search my result refusal of entry or ejection from the venue. Any person found in possession of a banned substance will be subject to a banning order and the police may be called.

Please note that CCTV is in use throughout the venue. 

Responsible Behaviour – Please behave responsibly when you are in the venue. Please leave the venue quietly and be mindful of our neighbours. 

Responsible Drinking – Swansea University Students’ Union encourages responsible drinking. Please drink sensibly and know your limits. Unless otherwise stated tickets and table bookings are non-refundable. Please direct any questions regarding your booking to events@swansea-union.co.uk
