Time: Departing Park Campus – Fulton House at 9:00am with a pick up at Parc Tawe at 09:15am (click here for location), and Bay Campus Bus Stops at 9:30am. We’ll be leaving Tenby at 5:30pm. Then arriving back in Swansea at around 7pm*
Description: Tenby is one of the most iconic and well-visited seaside towns in Wales. Steeped in ancient history and surrounded by an imposing medieval stone wall, Tenby has seen many changes through time, but it has been on the leisure map for over 200 years. With all that experience, the people of Tenby certainly know how to offer each and every visitor an unforgettable time.
When you visit Tenby you will discover a maze of narrow little streets. There are plenty of fascinating and quirky shops in the town specialising in locally produced items and plenty of attractions.
This trip is informal and relaxed, so you’ll have the day to spend as you wish – it’s a really welcoming town, and you can even take a boat trip to spot sealife or visit Caldey Island – there are a number of operators of boat tours including Tenby Boat Trips Pembrokeshire! We recommend heading over to Around Tenby the perfect vistors guide to one of the UK's best destinations to check out some things you might like to do with your day.
We’re not able to provide a ‘guided tour’, so we suggest making some plans for your time there before you go. We are also hosting a Meet-Up Mixer for those of you who are coming along to Tenby Trip– this is a chance to meet others coming along and possibly plan some things to do together at our GO! Social: Meet up Mixer
