The Inaugural Annual Swansea University Invitational Chess Tournament is upon us. A lot of work has gone into preparing for it to date, and we are all very excited to build something upon and for our community to share.
You are invited. 25 minutes + 10 second increment per move, to be played out in 8 rounds. The entries are now open. We have limited spots for this one (80), so first come is first served.
Saturday morning will see FIDE Master Carl Strugnell play sumiltaneous games, indicate your interest in this as well as we may have limited spaces.
There is a £200 first prize guarantee in place, as well as other prizes for categories.
Entry fee is: £20, £10 for students and £8 for juniors.
