- Timetable your work
There’s not much worse than realising you’ve let it too late before revising for an exam. Apps like My Study Plan will help you break down your work and help with forward planning.
- Snacks!
Don’t forget to eat! (And look out for some free #StudyAid food around campus…)
- Take regular breaks
Watching a 20-minute episode on Netflix is actually justified during exam season! It’ll refresh your brain and help you concentrate when you get back to work.
- Do some exercise
Get up and go for a walk to reduce stress and tiredness and help with your wellbeing.
- Treat yo’ self
What’s more motivating than a revision reward every now and again?
- Easy on the caffeine
As tempting as it may be, it won’t help you remember your notes any quicker.
- Get some sleep
Lack of sleep messes with your memory. Don’t undo all your hard work with an all-nighter before the exam!
- Use colourful notes
As well as looking pretty, colour coding and highlighting sections will help you find them quicker later on.
- Test yourself
Or get a friend to test you. There’s no better way to practice for the real thing.
- Read your notes before bed
That way, your brain will retain any new information better.
- Drink plenty of water
Hydrate your brain.
