Swansea's the third most affordable Uni town
We already knew it was worth coming to Swansea Uni, but now we have proof. New research has revealed that Swansea students reap the benefits of living in one of the most affordable student towns in the UK. You lucky bunch.
Totally Money took the Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 and ranked their top 50 universities in order: from most affordable, to least. The research looks at the costs of a week's rent in halls, a cinema ticket, monthly gym membership, cappuccino, meal, a pint in Wetherspoons, a kebab, and a taxi from the town centre to campus. And Swansea came up trumps! (Just behind Warwick and East Anglia).
Gym memberships here cost an average of £20, and pints are only £2.19, so you can undo all your hard work...
You already know how cheap Tooters, Sin Savers and Yellow Cabs are, so this news won't come as much of a suprise. But we'll brag about it anyway.

Abertawe yw'r trydedd dref fwyaf fforddiadwy
Roeddwn ni'n gwybod bod dod i Brifysgol Abertawe gwerth chweil, ond nawr mae yna dystiolaeth. Mae ymchwil newydd wedi dangos bod myfyrwyr Abertawe yn elwa ar fanteision byw mewn un o drefi myfyrwyr mwyaf fforddiadwy yn y DU. Lwcus iawn.
Rhestrodd Totally Money y 50 prifysgol gorau yn y Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018 a'u rhestru mewn trefn: o'r mwyaf fforddiadwy, i'r lleiaf. Mae'r ymchwil yn edrych ar gost wythnos mewn llety myfyrwyr, tocyn sinema, aelodaeth i'r gampfa, cappuccino, pryd o fwyd, peint yn Wetherspoons, cebab, a thacsi o ganol y dref i'r campws. A daeth Abertawe yn drydedd (ar ôl Warwick ac East Anglia).
Mae aelodaeth i'r gampfa yn costio tua £20, ac mae peint yn costio £2.19, felly mae cyfle i chi dadwneud yr holl waith caled...
Rydych chi'n gwybod pa mor rhad yw Tooters, Sin Savers a Yellow Cabs yn barod, felly doedd y newyddion hyn ddim yn annisgwyl iawn. Ond hoffwn ni brolio beth bynnag.
