Period poverty is on the rise in the UK. Heartbreakingly, one in 10 girls can't afford pads and tampons during their time of the month, according to Plan International UK.
At last year's AGM, a motion was passed for the SU to make sanitary items freely available to all students in our venues. Since then, Welfare Officer Grace has been working hard to bring them in and we can now announce that they will available in all SU toilets and on our receptions from next week.
Feel free to take them when you need them, and replenish the stock if you can.

Ers hynny, mae Grace, eich Swyddog Addysg, wedi bod yn gweithio'n galed i ddod â nhw mewn. O'r wythnos nesaf, mae nhw ar gael i fyfyrwyr yn nhoiledau UM ac ar ein derbynfeydd.
