My name is Hubert Kisiel, I am an undergraduate PPE international student. I have experience in organizing large numbers of people and large-scale projects, as I was responsible for organization of Basketball Tournament at middle school level. I was also class president throughout middle and high school. In my country of origin, I was often the 3rd during oxford style debates, which means that I have acquired skills in precisely and logically dissecting the speeches of my opponents and I believe that these skills will help me scrutinize and evaluate the policies submitted by full-time officers. In addition, I have also played Rugby in my country of origin and thus I was taught the values of sportsmanship and teamwork.
My main and foremost intention is to uphold this institution as a place of downright tolerance and equality and thus it is my long-term goal to remove any oppressive role that would suggest division based upon sex, class or race that would lead to favoritism of one group at the cost of other. I intend to ensure that institution runs effectively and transparently, in accordance with philosophy of vox populi, that the chosen candidates should be held accountable to those voting for them, and so that every individual within this educational institution knows that they truly have a say in the matters and going-ons of the elected body. I am going to fight for greater understanding between people and provide students with understanding of the university’s policy through modernization of the university's newspaper. I will also try to provide understanding of student forums and increase the possibility for students to exchange their ideas and student experience with the elected office through face-to-face meetings with representatives of the elected body. I also intend to establish a cultural exchange programme by helping facilitate Swansea University Rugby Teams to go to major Rugby Sporting Events in Poland, such as: Sopot Beach Rugby, Warsaw Rugby Festival and Krakow Seven.

Fy enw i yw Hubert Kisiel, rwy'n fyfyriwr rhyngwladol PPE israddedig. Mae gen i brofiad o drefnu nifer fawr o bobl a phrosiectau ar raddfa fawr, gan mai fi oedd yn gyfrifol am drefnu Twrnamaint Pêl-fasged ar lefel ysgol ganol. Roeddwn i hefyd yn llywydd dosbarth trwy'r ysgol ganol ac uwchradd. Yn fy ngwlad wreiddiol, roeddwn i'n aml yn 3ydd yn ystod dadleuon arddull Oxford, sy'n golygu fy mod i wedi ennill sgiliau wrth ddyrannu areithiau fy ngwrthwynebwyr yn union ac yn rhesymegol a chredaf y bydd y sgiliau hyn yn fy helpu i graffu a gwerthuso'r polisïau a gyflwynwyd gan Swyddogion Llawn-amser. Yn ogystal, rydw i hefyd wedi chwarae Rygbi yn fy ngwlad wreiddiol ac felly dysgais werthoedd chwaraeon a gwaith tîm.
Fy mhrif fwriad yw cynnal y sefydliad hwn fel man goddefgarwch a chydraddoldeb llwyr ac felly fy nod hirdymor yw dileu unrhyw rôl ormesol a fyddai'n awgrymu rhaniad yn seiliedig ar ryw, dosbarth neu hil a fyddai'n arwain at ffafriaeth un grwp at gost eraill. Rwy’n bwriadu sicrhau bod y sefydliad yn cael ei gynnal yn effeithiol ac yn dryloyw, yn unol ag athroniaeth vox populi, lle dylid dal yr ymgeiswyr a ddewisir yn atebol i’r rhai sy’n pleidleisio drostynt, ac fel bod pob unigolyn yn y sefydliad addysgol hwn yn gwybod bod ganddynt lais yn materion a gweithrediadau'r unigolyn etholedig. Rwy’n mynd i frwydro dros well dealltwriaeth rhwng pobl a rhoi dealltwriaeth i fyfyrwyr o bolisiau’r Brifysgol trwy foderneiddio papur newydd y Brifysgol. Byddaf hefyd yn ceisio darparu dealltwriaeth o fforymau myfyrwyr a chynyddu'r posibilrwydd i fyfyrwyr gyfnewid eu syniadau a'u profiadau fel myfyrwyr â'r swyddfa etholedig trwy gyfarfodydd wyneb yn wyneb â chynrychiolwyr y corff etholedig. Rydw i hefyd yn bwriadu sefydlu rhaglen cyfnewid diwylliannol trwy helpu i hwyluso Timau Rygbi Prifysgol Abertawe i fynd i Ddigwyddiadau Chwaraeon Rygbi mawr yng Ngwlad Pwyl, megis: Rygbi Traeth Sopot, Gwyl Rygbi Warsaw a Krakow Seven.
