General Information

 

Welcome to Freshers Fayre 2023!

Here is your chance to speak to over 200 Sports Clubs and Societies about how you can get involved and ensure your University experience is one to remember!

We know that Freshers is about making friends, great nights out, deals, settling into your new home and of course, FREE STUFF! That's why we've teamed up with all our sports clubs and societies plus local and national businesses to provide you with deals, freebies and samples. Look out for exclusive offers from Amazon, Dominos, Apple, GiffGaff, Spotify, Under Armour, Asos and much, much more! We want you to sample a little of everything Swansea has to offer.

Please ONLY attend the Fayre at your designated booking time! You will not be admitted into any other slot apart from the one you have booked. You can only access one session.  

One session per student.

Can I re-enter?
No take your time, because once you have left you cannot come back in again
Where can I access toilet facilities
Portable toilet distributed throughout the event
What happens if I’m late for my slot?
Ticket only valid for the session you have booked for.
How do I sign up for clubs /societies?
Many will have QR codes which you can scan and access their site, or you can visit their social media pages or visit our website- Check out our Club and Societies
Do I have to be a Fresher to come to Freshers Fayre?
NO! It’s open to all students.
Do I have to have a Sports Swansea Membership?
Yes you will need this, it can be purchased alongside your club membership purchase.

Accessibility Information 

When is the best time for me to attend the Fayre?
Our accessibility session will run on Wednesday from 10-12pm.  
Where can I access toilet facilities?
Disabled Toilets will be available.  
How do I get to the Fayre?
Our Welfare Officer will be walking from Singleton Campus over to the Fayre at scheduled times to help those who need to assitance attending.
Can I bring a carer with me to the Fayre?
Yes! When booking for the accessibility slot, you will be able to request an additional ticket to allow entry for your carer.
Is there wheelchair access?
Yes! We've designed the Fayre to be on ground level with plenty of wheelchair access so all can attend.
