If you are interested in working for Sin City then come down to our open recruitment day on Monday 16th September, any time between 10:00 and 20:00. You will meet with a member of our senior team, discuss the job and it's requirements and sit a short interview. You don't need to bring anything with you. Applicants must be over 18 and eligible to work in the UK.

Rate

£5.03 - £6.31 All successful applicants will be required to attend a training evening on Wednesday 18th September 2013. Normal working hours will be between 21:00 - 04:00

Mon 16 Sep 2013 The Recruitment Day will be held at Sin City Nightclub, 14 - 16 Dillwyn Street Swansea, SA1 4AQ. The door's will open at 9am and the day will run through until 8pm. There can sometimes be a small wait before getting seen.

JOB TITLE:                        Venue Staff

RESPONSIBLE TO:          Students' Union Management, Sin City Bars Manager, Senior Supervisor

JOB PURPOSE:                To ensure that a quality bar service and experience is provided In line with the standards laid down by law and the management.

To ensure adherence to Health & Safety regulations.

Job Responsibilities: (Not Exhaustive)

 

  1. To ensure that the bars are prepared for service & stocked with liquor and suitable bar sundries at all times.

 

        2. To ensure all tills are correctly supplied with a float.

         

3. To ensure that all monies received are accurately accounted for and passed on to the management for checking.

 

4. To dispense and serve drinks, food and sundries and receive moneys paid in exchange for goods sold.

 

5. To work as a member of a team in your work area providing help and assistance as required. To communicate at all times with members of the team in your work area.

 

6. To ensure that all bars, bar areas and customer areas are prepared for service, maintained throughout service and correctly broken down at the end of service.

 

7. To ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene of all working surfaces, customer areas, and equipment, are maintained at all times. To ensure that safety precautions and procedures are observed by all staff at all times.

 

8. To provide a welcome to customers and maintain cordial relationships at all times.

 

9. To report any customer complaints to management without delay.

 

10. To report any accident and defects or damage to equipment and premises to management immediately.

 

11. To maintain the highest standards of personal cleanliness and hygiene at all times.

 

12. To ensure that the bars are operated in accordance with guidelines laid down by Sin City Bars Manager.

 

13. Within the guidelines of the operating policy, control and effectively delegate to all members of bar staff as to ensure smooth operation from the beginning to the end of each session.

 

14. Meet regularly with the Sin City Manager to express issues and resolve problems.

 

Nota Bene:

 

In addition to these duties and responsibilities all Venue Staff will be required to carry out any other duties that may be required from time to time.
