Being a Union officer will give you the opportunity to take on the role of activist, supporter and leader all in one!
Every year the Students’ Union elects five full-time officers voted for by students, to become leaders of a multi-million pound charity that supports and represent students at Swansea University.
The Rewards
If you’re successful you’ll gain:

- Skills- learn how to chair meetings, manage budgets and run campaigns
- Satisfaction- you can really improve Swansea students’ experience at university
The Job
The good news is no experience is necessary and you don’t even have to already be involved in the Students’ Union. Any student can enter from any level at university.
There are five very different roles up for grabs; however each officer is responsible for representing students to university management, leading the direction of the Students’ Union, running campaigns and improving Swansea University! If you’ve ever had a problem with student housing, been frustrated by your course or wanted to change attitudes to students, then this role could give you the chance to make an actual difference.

Y Swydd
Y newyddion da yw nad oes rhaid eich bod chi wedi ymwneud â’r Undeb Myfyrwyr yn barod. Mae modd i unrhyw fyfyriwr ymgeisio yn ystod unrhyw lefel astudiaeth.
Mae yna 5 rôl wahanol iawn ar gynnig ond yr hyn sy’n debyg yw bod pob rôl yn gyfrifol am gynrychioli barn myfyrwyr i dîm reolaeth y brifysgol gan arwain cyfeiriad y brifysgol a’r undeb trwy ymgyrchoedd. Os ydych erioed wedi cael problem gydag eich llety, wedi teimlo rhwystredigaeth o achos eich cwrs, bydd y cyfle hwn yn cynnig y cyfle i chi effeithio ar newid.
Beth nawr?
Agorir y cyfnod enwebiadau ar y 15fed o Ionawr tan yr 2il o Chwefror. Bydd y ddolen gyswllt yn ymddangos ar y dudalen hon. Byddwn yn cynnal nifer o sesiynau galw heibio lle bydd cyfle i chi siarad ag un o’n haelodau o staff cyfeillgar.
