Early Stages


  • Lobby the university to make visible commitments to race equality through actions and allocation of resources.  

  • Implement programmes to enhance representation and support for students from diverse and underrepresented backgrounds which would help to foster an inclusive culture in the university.  

  • Work with the disability officer to signpost students with disabilities to the services and support available to them and continue to work to make sure that campus is accessible to all.  

  • Establish student support networks for marginalized and underrepresented groups to ensure that students feel included, supported, and have the best university experience.  

  • Continue to work with the university to improve reporting of racial harassments and incidents on campus and ensure that all students are adequately supported.
