Football (Women's)

Swansea University Football Club

Women's Section is highly competitive and enthusiastic both on and off the pitch. We currently have two squads competing on Wednesday in BUCS, both squads playing in Western 2B. 2018-19 saw the introduction of our Futsal sqaud. 2019/20 will see the introduction of a new Sunday League side with aspirations of climbing up through the Welsh Football Pyramid.

Despite having the drive for high success, the Women's section is warm and friendly in which all abilities are welcome. We are also a very sociable club and you can often find us on Wind Street on a Wednesday night after a hard fought game in the afternoon! Not only this, we also have unmissable events throughout the year, such as Tour and Old Girls so there truly is something for everyone at this club, even after you graduate!!

As part of our membership to Sport Swansea we receive funding to ensure the smooth running of the club and also great training facilities such as our training facilities at Fairwood; where Swansea City's 1st team squad are based.

Training's are on Mondays and Thursdays 6:30 - 8:30PM on Fairwood training grounds, where the Swansea Mens football team train.

If you want to find out more, please come and see us at Fresher’s Fayre or drop one of our committee members a message on Facebook or email. Joining a club is a fantastic addition to your University experience and by joining the Women’s Football section you certainly won’t miss out!
