Welcome to the Catholic Society of Swansea University. Together with Pure in Heart (a young adult group), we offer a place for those who wish to practice and grow their faith, discern their faith, or simply wish to explore the faith in a welcoming community.
Although we have multiple connections to different churches throughout Swansea, our headquarters are located at Saint David's Priory Church (SA1 3NG), where Canon Paul and Father Gregory are stationed and serve as our university chaplains. Additionally, you will find the Pure in Heart organisation there as well.
In terms of weekly CathSoc activities, the main set schedule is as follows (though updates will be provided when necessary):
Tuesday 1:15pm- Holy Mass at Bay Campus (at "The Haven")
Friday
5.10 - 5.30pm - Group rosary with confession available. (At the Lighthouse, on Singleton Campus)
5:30pm- Holy Mass at Singleton Campus (at "The Lighthouse")
6:00pm- Social
Sundays 3:00pm- Soup Kitchen volunteering with Missionaries of Charity (located next to Parc Tawe)
6:00pm- Student Mass at Saint David's Priory church
Throughout the year, many social events shall be taking place, which shall be communicated through the WhatsApp group chat.
