Welcome to the Swansea Iraqi Society a community for Iraqi students and anyone interested in Iraqi culture, heritage and traditions at Swansea University.
Our society aims to bring people together through social events, cultural activities, food, celebrations and community gatherings, creating a welcoming space where everyone can connect, make friends and feel at home.
Whether you’re Iraqi, have Iraqi heritage, have an interest in Iraq, or simply want to meet new people and experience our culture, everyone is welcome!
Throughout the year, we’ll organise a range of events, from Iraqi cultural nights and traditional food to socials, celebrations and collaborations with other societies across the university.
🇮🇶 Our aim is simple: to celebrate Iraq, bring people together, and create a little piece of home here in Swansea.
