Swansea's 2016 champions and 2018 runner’s up of the National Masters of Show Choir competition. Show Choir will give you lifelong friends through singing and dancing - no experience required!

Swansea University Show Choir is an award-winning society that started nine years ago. We are an all-singing, all-dancing show choir, so if that's right up your street then come along to our taster sessions at the start of each term, and audition for the chance to have a solo!

We perform a range of songs from pop and rock through to musical theatre and alternative. We perform with backing tracks and acapella at our Christmas show, and to a live band at the National Competition.

In Show Choir, you have an opportunity to make new friends, perform in front of an audience, add to your CV and most of all have loads of fun! You will consistently build your confidence and have numerous chances perform in a large group, solo or perform in duets and trios.

Your opinion matters which is why in 2020/21, new systems are in place to make sure your suggestions and song choices are heard and used throughout the shows and competition!

Alongside 2 showcases (one at Christmas, the other in summer) a year, the icing on the cake is the National Masters of Show Choir Competition in March - a competition in which we achieved first place in 2016 and second place in 2018, with an award for “Best Arrangement” in 2019.

We are looking for dedicated, fun and performance loving individuals - with NO previous experience needed!

If this sounds like a society that you could fit into, then please come along to our rehearsals every Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm-8pm.
