This is a dystopian drama play with one interval that is set to be performed on the 5th and 6th of December.
Love Restricted is set during a dystopian government in the near future, where love is - you guessed it - restricted. After research came out showing how love is unproductive and harmful for humans, the government decided to monitor human connection through brain chips that have been put in people’s brains. These brain chips monitor dopamine spikes, heart rate, proximity to others etc and if people exceed their emotional limit they are detained and removed from society.
This play follows 4 ‘couples’ who manage their relationships during a world where love is controlled and it is dangerous to get too close to the ones you love. Will they be able to keep themselves and the ones closest to them safe?
