It’s that time of year again, and School Rep applications for the 2023-24 academic year are officially OPEN and we would love you to be part of the team!
So, what is a School Rep?
Now, you might be wondering, "What exactly is a School Rep?" Well, think of it as being the voice and advocate for all students in your School. You'll work closely with Subject Reps, the Students’ Union Education Officer, the Student Voice Team, and key University staff to ensure that all student's thoughts and concerns are heard and represented. It's an opportunity to make a real difference in the Swansea experience!
As a School Rep, you'll have the chance to attend important meetings with staff in your School, collaborate with the Students’ Union, and even contribute to essential University-level committees. It's like being in the centre of all the action!
And here's the cherry on top of the cake...By joining us as a School Rep, you'll play a vital role in supporting important campaigns such as Study Aid and the Big Swansea Survey. Your efforts will contribute to creating a positive and vibrant campus environment for everyone.

Of course, we wouldn’t expect you do to this without a little perk here and there...We get it!
As a School Rep, you'll receive a bursary of £300 at the end of the year if you complete at least the Bronze HEAR Award. It's a great way to get some financial support while doing something meaningful! And guess what? Being a School Rep will also boost your CV, impress future employers, and provide you with valuable skills that will last a lifetime.
Plus, you'll make lots of new friends and enjoy some fantastic Rep socials. It's a win-win all around!

To apply, simply fill out the online application form before midday on Monday, 14th August.
If you're shortlisted, you'll be invited for a friendly and informal interview during the week commencing 21st August.
