Planned Actions:

• Work with University and Students’ Union teams to ensure appropriate support is available for students experiencing discrimination, harassment, or hate incidents.
• Promote clear messaging that condemns Islamophobia, antisemitism, and all forms of discrimination.
• Engage with student groups and representatives to understand concerns and ensure student voices inform the Union’s approach.
• Signpost students to wellbeing, advice, and reporting mechanisms where they feel impacted by the conflict or campus discussions.

Measures of Success:

• Students feel supported and able to access appropriate wellbeing and reporting support.
• Clear Union messaging that promotes inclusion, safety, and academic freedom while condemning all forms of hate.
