What Happens Next?

Your newly elected Full‑Time Officers will begin their terms toward the end of June 2026, following a handover period with the current officer team.

 

 

NUS Affiliation Vote

You also voted on whether Swansea University Students’ Union should remain affiliated with the National Union of Students (NUS). Affiliation includes an annual membership fee and provides access to national representation, campaigns, training, research, and democratic participation within NUS structures.

End our affiliation with the NUS. The Students’ Union will now begin exploring what this decision means in practice and what steps may be required as we move forward.
