Vote to determine if the Union should stay affiliated to the National Union of Students (NUS) for the 25/26 year.
NUS is the National Union of Students and one of the largest student organisations in the world, representing millions of students in further and higher education in the UK.
Over 600 students’ unions are affiliated with NUS, including us. We pay an annual subscription fee to NUS, which funds all the campaigns, activities and support services of NUS.
Membership means we are entitled to the following:
• TOTUM discount cards
• Awards and Accreditation like Best Bar None and Green Impact
• Support for elections
• National representation and campaigning
• Opportunities to take part in national and local policy making
• Training and development for the Officers and SU staff
