Welcome to the Ancient World Society
It's simple to join; click 'Buy Membership'. It's only £3.00, and that entitles you to join in with all the activities, socials and trips!
We offer weekly socials at our own University's JCs bar on the Singleton campus, as well as a variety of other events that are constantly in the works! This includes but is not limited to:
- Boardgame/Quiz Nights
- Movie Nights
- Trips to Museums and Heritage sites
- Academic seminars or online discussion events
... And many more!
Our main focus is to familiarise students with the Ancient World and what it encompasses and create a community for all those who love the Ancient World. We aim to create an environment that is both friendly, encouraging and one of learning and discussion!
Whether you are a student in one of the Ancient courses or someone who just has an interest, this is the place for you!
Get together with potential future coursemates and students from similar courses across all years and degrees!

Ein prif focws yw i cael myfyrwyr i deall y byd hynafol,
beth mae o yn eu cynwyso i creu cymmuned i bawb sydd yn caru y byd hynafol.
rydym ni eisiau creu cymdeithas sydd yn croesawgar a un sydd llawn trafodaeth a dysgu.
Mae y cymdeithas byd hynafol yn croesawgar i pawb, nid ond pobl ar cyrsiau Hanesyddol.
os ydych yn ansicir neu eisiau fwy o gwybodaeth danfonwych e-bost neu dm ar insta.
