Anime and Manga

Welcome to the Swansea University Anime and Manga Society! (Or SUMASOC for short)

We're a society celebrating the medium of Japanese Animation and Comics! From the biggest and most popular names out there like "Dragonball Z" and "Attack on Titan", to the smaller titles like "A Place Further Than the Universe" and "K-On". From anime to manga, light novels to webnovels, webtoons to visual novels, all similar forms of media, we welcome all!

Whether you're new to Anime & Manga or a seasoned veteran, we welcome all to join us in discovering some of the best stories around!

During the term we host all types of meets:

• The Weekly Anime meet where we watch a sample of 3 different shows voted by the society
• Movie Night where we watch a film either in meet or in cinema
• Mega Meet where we watch an entire 12 episode anime at once with breaks
• Special Event Meet where committee-planned events can occur such as trivia, music quizzes, etc.
• Social Meets where we hang out or do activities such as going to the local, bowling, karaoke, etc.
• Convention Trip where we go to a nearby convention for one day, organised by the committee

Our Discord server has plenty of people to chat to about whatever you're watching or reading and is currently getting an overhaul of new channels and events!

Rydyn ni'n gymdeithas sy'n dathlu cyfrwng Animeiddio a Chomics Japan! O'r enwau mwyaf a mwyaf poblogaidd allan yna fel "Dragonball Z" ac "Attack on Titan", i'r teitlau llai fel "A Place Further Than the Universe" a "K-On".

P'un a ydych chi'n newydd i Anime & Manga neu'n gyn-filwr profiadol rydym yn croesawu pawb i ymuno â ni i ddarganfod rhai o'r straeon gorau o gwmpas!

• Trip Confensiwn lle'r ydym yn mynd i gonfensiwn cyfagos am un diwrnod, a drefnir gan y pwyllgor
