Physician Associate

This society is predominantly aimed at Physician Associate (PA) students, but it is open to anyone wanting to know more about the PA role or be part of a healthcare society. We are here to support PA students with study sessions, SBA and OSCE preparation, social events, and more.

We aim to raise awareness of the PA role, and we’re especially excited about collaborating with other healthcare professionals — learning, sharing, and growing together as future members of the healthcare team.

Here is a rough guide to some exciting things we have planned

• SUPASoc to be present during open days to answer questions from prospective students.
• SUPASoc to help the faculty during interviews and open days to provide support.
• An introductory presentation made by SUPASoc to provide a student's insight into the course
• We introduced a buddy system that pairs 1st and 2nd PA students together. We hope this enables a smoother transition for the new students
• Educational events and revision sessions, including SBA and OSCE 
• PAs working in the NHS to speak to the cohort 
• Social events for both 1st and 2nd PA students 
• Q&A sessions over Instagram
