Swansea Cardiac Society is a student-led community dedicated to exploring cardiology and cardiac surgery. Our mission is to provide engaging academic opportunities, inspiring talks, and supportive peer-led initiatives for medical students at Swansea University. By combining educational events with social activities, we aim to create an inclusive space where students can deepen their interest in cardiovascular medicine, connect with professionals, and support one another throughout their studies.
Our yearly programme will include guest speaker sessions, clinical revision events, and accessible resources such as a student-run cardiology newsletter. We also organise socials to strengthen the sense of community and provide opportunities for networking outside of academia. With the support of our committee, we look forward to making cardiology more approachable, relevant, and exciting for everyone involved.
