A Safe Night Out is the Best Night Out!

2021, the year Swansea Freshers made the ultimate comeback. After taking a temporary break for Covid in 2020, Freshers 2021 was the return everyone expected and more. Throughout Freshers week our teams worked to ensure that’s Fresher’s Fortnight was a safe and positive experience for all involved. Read more here.

Black History Month!

October is Black History Month!

Black History Month was first launched in London in the 1980s, where the aim was for the local community to challenge racism and educate themselves and others about the British History! 

We have planned loads of exciting events to celebrate Black History Month; make sure to keep an eye out for all our upcoming activities throughout October! You can find all the upcoming events here.

Elections!

Our Autumn elections are now underway! Nominations for all our PTO, NUS, and Subject/Course Reps have now officially closed! This can only mean one thing...Time to get voting!

Don’t forget to view all the candidate's manifesto’s before casting your vote and chose the person that you would want to represent YOU!

Voting opens at 12pm on the 11th October, and will close at 12pm on the 14th. Check out our candidates here and cast your vote before it’s too late!

2021, y flwyddyn daeth Wythnos Glas Abertawe yn ôl yn well nag erioed. Ar ôl cymryd egwyl dros gyfnod Covid yn 2020, roedd Wythnos y Glas 2021 yn well nag oedd unrhyw un yn disgwyl. Trwy gydol Wythnos y Glas, gweithiodd ein timau i sicrhau ei fod yn brofiad diogel a chadarnhaol i bawb a gymerodd ran. Darllena ragor yma.

Mae mis Hydref yn Fis Hanes Pobl Dduon!

Lansiwyd Mis Hanes Pobl Dduon gyntaf yn Llundain yn yr 1980au, lle mai'r nod oedd i'r gymuned leol herio hiliaeth ac addysgu eu hunain ac eraill am Hanes Prydain!

Rydym wedi cynllunio llwyth o ddigwyddiadau cyffrous i ddathlu Mis Hanes Pobl Dduon; gwna’n siwr dy fod yn cadw llygad am ein holl weithgareddau sydd i ddod trwy gydol mis Hydref! Gallet ti ddod o hyd i'r holl ddigwyddiadau yma.

Etholiadau!

Mae etholiadau’r Hydref ar y gweill! Mae enwebiadau ar gyfer ein Swyddogion Rhan-amser, UCM, a Chynrychiolwyr Pwnc/Cwrs bellach wedi cau! Mae hyn yn golygu un peth... Amser i bleidleisio!

Paid ag anghofio edrych ar holl faniffestos yr ymgeisydd cyn bwrw pleidlais a dewis y person y byddet ti am ei gynrychioli TI!

Mae'r pleidleisio'n agor am 12pm ar 11eg Hydref, ac yn cau am 12pm ar 14eg. Darllena am ein hymgeiswyr yma a phleidleisia cyn ei iddi fod yn rhy hwyr!

Ffair Yrfaoedd yr Hydref

Mae Ffair Yrfaoedd Hydref Prifysgol Abertawe yn gyfle i siarad ag ystod eang o sefydliadau, rhwydweithio â chyflogwyr a chysylltu â chyfleoedd gwaith i gyd mewn un lle!

Ymuna â ni ar Ddydd Mercher 20fed Hydref, ar-lein rhwng 11:00 – 17:00 ynghyd â sefydliadau lleol, cenedlaethol a rhyngwladol, gan gynnwys y Fyddin, Babcock, yr Adran dros Addysg, Anabledd Cymru, Addysgwyr Cymru, Farrer & Co., Fortil UK, Swansea City FC, a llawer mwy.
