About
We are constructing a collage that represents the Materials Society and community members of 2023-24.
Whether you are a student, academics, staff members or are a part of the materials community in any way, come along and create your piece to add to the collection!
For free of cost, you will be provided with a small canvas each and a supply of acrylics, brushes and palettes, but you are welcome to bring your own equipment. You are also welcome to bring some light snacks and music recommendations to keep the artistic energy flowing. For those who would like to give it a go but not sure what to draw or paint, we will have a collection of printed inspirations for you to look at for ideas.
At anytime within these range, stop by at room 111, School of Management for a relaxing and creative wind down with paints and brushes and add your personal touch to the project!
Thursday 16th : 5pm-9pm
Friday 17th : 5pm-9pm
Saturday 18th : anytime !!
Even if you finish your piece early, need a break from the activity or want to study or rest with other materials folks, the room is also open for you to chill in, even when you're not painting.
This is an amazing way to wind down from a long day of working and a perfect opportunity to add to the small legacy you can look back on when the collage goes on display.
