Ready to take your first steps into archery? Join the Beginners Course and learn how to shoot properly from the ground up!
Across the 3 week course, our experienced coaches will teach you everything you need to know, from safely handling and setting up your equipment to developing your technique and shooting your arrows (hopefully in the centre). No previous experience is needed, and all equipment is provided.
This course is a requirement from our governing body ArcheryGB, without it you do not qualify for insurance and will not be able to shoot at AGB affiliated clubs and competitions.
It’s a great way to meet new people, try something completely different, and discover why so many of us love archery. Bring your friends along and learn to shoot together!
By the end of the course, you’ll have the skills and confidence to continue shooting with the club and investing in your own equipment.
Please wear closed toed shoes, long hair may need to be tied back and hoodie laces tucked in, some facial piercings may restrict ability to fully draw the string leading to possible injury and will need to be removed.
