Website Developer Assistant
The role of the Website Development Assistant is to assist with the continuing development of the Students' Union website.
Give It A Go Campaign Assistant
Assisting the Societies and Services Officer with the running and promotion of Give it a Go! Week.
SU President PR and Comms Assistant
Assisting the President of the Students' Union with PR and Communications, with a focus on social media and general marketing of the officers.
JC’s Barista
The role of the JC's Barista is to assist with the JCs team, in running the coffee shop and bar. This may include work for SU events.
This placement will require some evening work, to cover events. Please be flexible and able to work shift patterns.
Sales and Marketing Assistant
Assisting the Sales & Promotions Coordinator in securing commercial bookings for Freshers Fayre 2018 and advertisements, to generate revenue for the Students’ Union.
Bars and Events Assistant
The venues and events team would like a reliable and enthusiastic individual looking for an opportunity to join a fast-paced and interesting business. The role offered is varied and provides a fantastic opportunity to gain insight, understanding and experience of the business end of the events and licensed trade industries.
Advice and Support Assistant
Assisting in the administration of the Advice and Support Centre (ACS), meeting and greeting clients. With clients’ permission, sitting in on interviews and helping with case recording. Attending meetings with advisers, researching client issues and helping develop campaigns and initiatives.
Welfare Officer Assistant
The role of the Welfare Officer Assistant is to shadow and assist the Students' Union Full Time Welfare Officer. This will enable the applicant to gain a good understanding of the Welfare and support provided to students, how to better these provisions and get involved in campaigns run by the Welfare Officer.
