As a Swansea Uni student, you are now automatically a member of the Union. We are a registered charity, led by students for students.
Here's a little summary of what we get up to...
1. We are a voice for students
We have 6 elected Full-time Officers who represent you when it comes to all things Uni-related. You take your questions to them, and they take your feedback to the Uni, and make sure something gets done about it.
We also have 17 part time officers who work closely with us to deal with Important issues..
Subject Reps, who deal with any issues on your course and NUS Delegates who represent Swansea SU on a national level at NUS conferences.
We host student forums throughout the year to make sure you have your say too.
2. We run shops & bars on campus
We run JCs, Tafarn Tawe, Rebound, Root, Root Zero, Costcutter and Fulton Outfitters. Every penny you spend at these venues goes straight back into your student experience.
3. We are here to support you
Our Advice & Support centre is here to offer you free and confidential advice whenever you need it, no matter what the issue. We also have an on campus nursey, so we can look after your little ones whilst you focus on your degree.
4. We organise top notch events
We do the fun parts too. We're the brains behind Freshers' Fortnight, Summer Ball, Varsity, Tooters, and all the other great events. So check out our Events page to see what's coming up.
5. Through us, you can join a society, sports club or media group
It's the best way to meet people, have a laugh, broaden your skills and take your mind off those deadlines.
6. We employ students
Last year we spent a whopping £390,000 in student wages, so that you can earn money whilst you study. We have jobs in all of our shops and bars - even our marketing and events departments!

Dyma grynodeb o'r hyn rydyn ni'n ei wneud...
1. Rydyn ni'n llais dros fyfyrwyr
Mae gennym ni 6 Swyddog Llawn-amser etholedig sy'n dy gynrychioli di o ran pethau yn y Brifysgol. Maen nhw'n mynd â chwestiynau myfyrwyr at y Brifysgol ac yn sicrhau bod rhywbeth yn cael ei wneud.
Rydyn ni'n cynnal fforymau myfyrwyr drwy gydol y flwyddyn i sicrhau dy fod di'n dweud dy ddweud.
2. Rydyn ni'n cynnal siopau a bariau ar y campws
Ni sy'n cynnal JCs, Tafarn Tawe, Rebound, Root, Root Zero, Costcutter a Fulton Outfitters. Mae pob ceiniog sy'n cael ei wario yn y llefydd hyn yn mynd syth yn ôl at dy brofiad fel myfyriwr.
3. Rydyn ni yma i dy gefnogi ti
Mae ein Canolfan Cyngor a Chymorth ar gael i gynnig cyngor cyfrinachol, rhad ac am ddim pan fod angen, beth bynnag y broblem. Mae hefyd gennym ni feithrinfa ar y campws, er mwyn i ni edrych ar ôl dy blant tra dy fod di'n canolbwyntio ar dy astudiaethau.
4. Rydyn ni'n trefnu digwyddiadau hwylus
Rydyn ni'n gwneud y pethau hwylus, hefyd. Ni sy'n trefnu Pythefnos y Glas, Dawns yr Haf, Varsity, Tooters, a'r holl ddigwyddiadau gwych eraill. Cer i'n tudalen Digwyddiadau i weld beth sydd ar y gweill.
5. Trwon ni, galli di ymuno â chymdeithas, clwb chwaraeon neu grwp y cyfryngau
Dyma'r ffordd orau o gwrdd â phobl newydd, mwynhau, ehangu ar dy sgiliau ac anghofio am y gwaith cwrs.
6. Rydyn ni'n cyflogi myfyrwyr
Llynedd, gwarion ni £390,000 ar gyflogau myfyrwyr, er mwyn i ti allu ennill arian wrth astudio. Rydyn ni'n cynnig swyddi ym mhob un o'n siopau a bariau - hyd yn oed ein hadrannau marchnata a digwyddiadau!
