National coronavirus fire-break

We understand that this is a difficult time, and as your SU, we are here for you.

The Welsh Government have announced a ‘fire-break’ for COVID-19, which will start on Friday 23rd October until Monday 9th November.

A fire-break is a short, two-week national lockdown in Wales as a response to a sharp rise of coronavirus cases.

All non-essential shops, pubs and restaurants will be closed along with leisure businesses, community centres and libraries.

You must stay in your Uni accommodation during this time period. You will have received an email from the Uni further detailing what this means for you, which you can read here
