Your Students' Union is dedicated to promoting sustainability and eco-friendly living. We recognise the importance of fighting the effects of climate change and have initiatives in place to ensure that we are raising awareness of and encouraging students to live a more environmentally-conscious lifestyle where they can.
Just Beachy
There are lots of different beaches at Swansea and it's important to the Students' Union to keep them clean and tidy - not just for us to enjoy them, but for the local wildlife too. We regularly run beach cleans and encourage our students to get involved.
That's SWell
To encourage our students and staff to live more sustainably, Swansea University launched the SWell app in 2021. The Sustainability and Wellbeing app rewards students and staff for making healthier, greener choices.
